The Beaverdale VFW Post 9127 is having it’s annual campaign to raise funds to provide holiday food baskets to Veteran Families in Polk County this holiday season.
In partnership with Polk County Veterans Affairs, Cumulus Media and other Veteran Organizations – last year we provided 60 meals to brighten the holiday season.
This year our goal is to provide a minimum of 75 meals with a stretch goal of 90.
Additionally, we are accepting food donations in conjunction with AMVETS Post 2 that will be donated to the Purple Heart Food Pantry at VFW Post 9662.
Please stop by to donate money or food on Friday, November 10th from 3pm – 7pm and visit with Veterans as we welcome your contributions.
