This Week in 80’s History!

Let’s check in and see what the first week of December looked like in the 1980’s! It was on this week in:

1982 – Michael Jackson Released Thriller. The album would dominate the Billboard charts and go on to become the highest selling album of all time, selling over 66 million copies world wide. 

1984 – “Do They Know It’s Christmas Time” was released by Band Aid, the compilation of mega stars of the 80s. 

1988 – We first met Zach Morris and Skreech as Good Morning Miss Bliss Premiered on The Disney Channel. After just one season the show would be rebranded, moved to Bayside and became Saved by the Bell! 

1989 -We all got to experience a good old fashioned Griswold Family Christmas as National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Premiered in Theaters​
