This week in 80’s History!

It was on this week in:

1982 – Conan the Barbarian starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Earl Jones was released in theaters, raking in $79 million at the box office.

1985 – We all wanted our money for nothing and our chicks for free as Dire Straits Released Brothers in Arms. The album would hit #1 on the US Billboard 200 Charts!

1986 – We flew into the danger zone as the Top Gun (Soundtrack) was released. Dominating the Billboard charts and eventually hitting the #1 spot!

1989 – “I’ll Be There For You” by Bon Jovi Hit #1 on the US Billboard Charts. Unfortunately they would only hold the top spot for one week.
