Adventureland Donates 50,000 Meals
Adventureland Resort is honoring World Hunger Day by packaging 50,000 meals for its 50th anniversary.
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Adventureland will host a special meal packaging event in partnership with Meals from the Heartland, coinciding with World Hunger Day. This event, taking place in Adventureland’s Palace Theater, aims to pack 50,000 nutritious meals to combat hunger. Adventureland is partnering with Prairie Meadows to help put on this event.
The meal packaging event will bring together volunteers, Adventureland employees, and a group of students from St. Paul The Apostle School in Davenport, to work hand in hand towards a common goal: fighting hunger. Each meal packed will provide nourishment to those facing food insecurity.
