Adventureland makes Donation to Caring Hands
Adventureland Resort and the Altoona Running Club presented Caring Hands with a donation of $7,000 today. The money was raised through the Storm the Park 5k at Adventureland on Saturday, May 18. More than 200 participants raced through the Altoona theme park helping to raise money for Caring Hands.
Adventureland also wrapped up its Log Ride Food Drive today, donating a boatload of food to the Altoona-based food pantry. The community filled a log boat from the theme park’s original log ride with food for Caring Hands. The food drive was held in the lobby of Adventureland Inn all spring.
