This Week in 80’s History!

It’s time to take a look back at Christmas week in the 80’s! It was this week in:

1984 – “Like a Virgin” by Madonna would take over the #1 spot on the Billboard charts 

1987 – Good Morning Vietnam premiered in theaters. Starring Robin Williams to film would become the highest grossing movie of 87, bringing in $123.9 million at the box office!

​​1988 – Young and the Restless Passed General Hospital as the #1 Daytime Soap. A spot the show still claims to this day! 

1988 – “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” by Poison would become your number 1 song on the Billboard charts and would hold onto that spot for 3 weeks.
