This Week in 80’s History!

Posted on September 3, 2022

It’s time to take a look at this week in 80’s history! It was on this week in:

1983 – “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics would hit #1 on the US Billboard Charts, however success was short lived as it only held onto the top spot for one week!

1985 – The American-French Expedition would locate the wreckage from the Titanic, however it would be at least another 10 years before the “heart of the Ocean” diamond would be located.

1989 – Dr. Feelgood was released by Motley Crue! The album would hit the top spot on the Billboard top 100, going on to sell over 6 million copies in the US alone!
