Big news Scorpions fans, as the long awaited biopic, ‘Wind of Change’, is set to begin filming in May. According to the films production company, EXS Entertainment, “‘Wind Of Change’ will tell the story of “three unlikely friends whose passion for rock ‘n’ roll fueled their rise from the ashes of post-World War II Germany to the global stardom in the 1980s as the multi-platinum rock band SCORPIONS,” according to Deadline. French-born filmmaker Alex Ranarivelo (“American Wrestler: The Wizard”) will direct.” As for the hold up in production? There are a lot of songs about a lot of different things that transcend genres, but a song about a Guns n Roses t-shirt? This is the subject matter (and title) of Canadian country music group, the Chris Godwin Band’s new single ‘GN’R T-shirt’. According to Godwin, he was accused by his girlfriend of writing the typical country music songs about partying, drinking, love and relationships and she joked he should right a song about her. He found the inspiration in an old Guns N Roses shirt that he had worn holes in over the year and had attempted to throw out, but she kept it for herself.
