This week in 80’s history!

Time to peek in the way back machine and see what this week looked like in the 1980’s! It was on this week in:

1981 – Joan Jett Released and the Blackhearts Released, I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll. The album would peak at #2 on the Billboard charts much thanks to mega hits Crimson and Clover and the title track I Love Rock n’ Roll!

1983 – We first heard the story of the little boy who only wanted the official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time as A Christmas Story Premiered in Theaters.

1984 – Building the Perfect Beast, Don Henley’s 2nd solo album was released featuring “The Boys of Summer” and “All She Wants to do is Dance.”

1988 – “Bad Medicine” by Bon Jovi Hit #1 on the US Billboard Charts. It would stay there until Dec 2nd of 88.
