Black Sabbath coming your way in hologram form?

Following the recent success ABBA’s digital avatar show in London, Sharon Osbourne says she would be open to the idea of Sabbath continuing in avatar form. Stating in a recent interview, “Technology keeps moving on and on. You can do incredible things now, so what you could do in five years will be even better. You never know what the opportunities are.” One rock band who have never passed on a chance to put their name on, well, anything, KISS have stated in the past that the band could/will live on and are already in the process of making that happen. The KISS avatars were created by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), were financed and produced by the Swedish company Pophouse Entertainment, which is behind “ABBA Voyage”. Get the full article here.

Green Day to be featured on ‘Devil May Cry’ soundtrack

Gamers, elder millennials, and NuMetal fans have anxiously anticipating the Netflix premier of ‘Devil May Cry’.  Based on the extremely popular video game franchise from Capcom, the eight-episode animated series releases tomorrow on Netflix and the soundtrack sticks true to the games roots. Featuring some of the biggest artists from the late 90’s and early double O’s, a lot of us will be thrown back in time as Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Rage Against the Machine & Green Day where usually playing on the jam box in the background while we gamed. Kirk Hammett working on first full length solo album

Metallica’s Kirk Hammett has confirmed he is working on his very first full length solo album. With plans to feature a whose who of rock royalty on the album, guest musicians and vocalists, the follow up to his 2022 solo ep ‘Portals’ is a work in progress with no release date in mind as of yet. Kirk also discussed with Rolling Stone his new book, ‘The Collection: Kirk Hammett’ which showcases his massive guitar collection that Hammett himself says he has lost count of. As for what’s next for Metallica? Hammett currently has over 767 riffs ready to roll for their next album. Get the full article here.

David Lee Roth announces second show for 2025

It was announced earlier this year that Diamond Dave would be making a rare, post “retirement” performance as part of the massive M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland. A second show has been added for the the former Van Halen frontman, on the other coast on Sept 12 at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California.
