First look: ‘Metallica Saved My Life’ trailer

Metallica has a brand new documentary set to hit select theaters later this month through the summer and they just dropped the first trailer. ‘Metallica Saved My Life’ will be a fan focused documentary “explores our world through the lives of fans who have supported each other through highs, lows, trials and triumphs for over four decades. Black Sabbath coming your way in hologram form?

Following the recent success ABBA’s digital avatar show in London, Sharon Osbourne says she would be open to the idea of Sabbath continuing in avatar form. Stating in a recent interview, “Technology keeps moving on and on. You can do incredible things now, so what you could do in five years will be even better. You never know what the opportunities are.” One rock band who have never passed on a chance to put their name on, well, anything, KISS have stated in the past that the band could/will live on and are already in the process of making that happen. The KISS avatars were created by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), were financed and produced by the Swedish company Pophouse Entertainment, which is behind “ABBA Voyage”. Get the full article here.

Green Day to be featured on ‘Devil May Cry’ soundtrack

Gamers, elder millennials, and NuMetal fans have anxiously anticipating the Netflix premier of ‘Devil May Cry’.  Based on the extremely popular video game franchise from Capcom, the eight-episode animated series releases tomorrow on Netflix and the soundtrack sticks true to the games roots. Featuring some of the biggest artists from the late 90’s and early double O’s, a lot of us will be thrown back in time as Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Rage Against the Machine & Green Day where usually playing on the jam box in the background while we gamed.
