Bruce Kulick Talks Joining KISS, Sex Tips, and More [PODCAST]

Doug Bailey caught up with guitarist Bruce Kulick (KISS/Grand Funk Railroad) yesterday while he was in town performing with Grand Funk opening for Bob Seger. Bruce talked about playing on Meatloaf’s Bat Out Of Hell Tour, his relationship with Michael Bolton, and the years as a member of KISS.

KISS Announce Des Moines Show

After selling more than half a million tickets at their initial on sale, KISS announced the second leg of their final tour ever set for 2019, appropriately named END OF THE ROAD. The iconic rockers will make a stop here in Des Moines on September 3rd at the Wells Fargo Arena. The initial tour announcement was made at Halloween and featured a first set of dates, some of which sold out instantly. The band announced today the second leg of the tour in North America starting this summer, produced by Live Nation, as well as new international markets being announced simultaneously. Tour itinerary detailed below with new dates in bold; KISS will be offering VIP experiences and special KISS Army fan presales.

KISS Meet & Greet Experiences will be available Tuesday, November 27 at 10am local time through kissonline.com. KISS Army fan club presales will begin Wednesday, November 28 at 9am local time. Visit www.kissonline.com for more information. Tickets to the general public will go on sale starting Monday, December 3 at 10am local time at LiveNation.com.

Known for their trademark larger-than-life blistering performances, KISS has proven for decades why they are hands down the most iconic live show in rock n roll.  The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers who have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide have said this tour is devoted to the millions of KISS Army fans.

“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years. This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… Unapologetic and Unstoppable,” said KISS.

Nuno Bettencourt and Steve Vai Talk Queen, Guitar Gods, and Des Moines [PODCAST]

Generation Axe will make a stop in Des Moines this Sunday night (11/18) at Hoyt Sherman for a show that promises to be one for the ages! Generation Axe are an American rock/heavy metal supergroup formed by Steve Vai in 2016. They toured North America in April and May 2016, and Asia in April 2017. In July 2018 they announced an additional North American tour to take place in November and December 2018. Doug Bailey had the chance to chat with Steve and Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) about their Mount Rushmore of Guitar Gods, touring, the new Queen movie and more.

Remembering Stan Lee [PODCAST]

B-Sox was joined by Mike Floorwalker from Looper.com to chat about the legacy of Stan Lee. The guys discussed favorite cameos, comics, and characters. Stan Lee passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on November 12th at the age of 95.
