After a not so impressive 2024 season and falling short of expectations with first overall pick Caleb Williams, the Chicago Bears fired head coach Matt Eberflus at the end of November after a 4-8 start. In my opinion, Chicago has a ton of talent and just needs the right person to put it all together. The head coaching position in Chicago should be an ideal landing spot this offseason for anyone, especially Iowa State’s Matt Campbell. After leading the Cyclones to the best season in program history, what is left for Campbell to achieve in Ames? His name comes up every year around this time as pro teams start the coaching search, but this time it feels like there is a better possibility he may be moving onto greener pastures. It was a history making night as after 30 years, the longest reigning weekly episodic program in television history made it’s debut on Netflix. Was it my favorite episode of WWE RAW? Not exactly. Was it everything it needed to be to usher in a new era of sports entertainment? Absolutely. It was overproduced, it was filled with celebrities, icons of the sport, fancy new camera work and I loved every second.
