This week in 80’s history!

It’s time to hop in the way back machine and see what this week looked like in the 1980’s! It was on this week in:

1980 – U2 Released Their Debut Album (Boy), featuring “I’ll Follow You” the album would reach #63 on the Billboard Charts. An early sign of things to come for the band.

1985 – “Take on Me” by a-ha Became the #1 Song in America. The definition of 80’s one hit wonders, “Take on Me” would become a juggernaut much thanks to its award winning and groundbreaking music video. 

1988 – We met the Conner family for the first time as Roseanne Premiered on ABC. The original run of the show would include 10 season and 231 episodes. 

1989 – The world was introduced to something a little heavier as Pretty Hate Machine, Nine Inch Nails debut album was released.
