It’s time to take a look back at Labor Day Weekend in the 1980’s! It was on this week in:

1983 – “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics became the #1 song in America.

1986 – “Money For Nothing” by Dire Straits Won Music Video of the Year at the MTV Music Awards

1987 – Michael Jackson Released one of the most iconic albums of the decade, Bad. Dominating the charts and selling 35 million copies world wide.

1989 – Motley Crue released their 5th studio album, Dr. Feelgood. The album would soar to the #1 spot on the Billboard charts and go on to sell over 6 million copies world wide!
