This Week in 80’s History!Posted on August 26, 2023Let’s see what this week looked like in the 1980’s! It was on this week in! 1985 – We all felt “The Power of Love” this classic by Huey Lewis and the News Became the #1 Song in America. 1986 – Paul Simon Released His 7th Album, Graceland. The album would win a Grammy for album of the year and lead to one of my favorite 80’s music videos starring 80’s icon Chevy Chase singing “You Can Call Me Al”. 1987 – Aerosmith reminded everyone exactly who they were, releasing Permanent Vacation and selling over 5 million copies in the US alone! 1989 – We took a wild ride with a curious cat and a pug nosed pup as The Adventures of Milo and Otis premiered in theaters.
