1983 – Still Smokin starting the legendary comedy duo Cheech and Chong was released in theaters.

1984 – Kerry Von Erich Defeated Ric Flair For the NWA Heavyweight Championship.

1987 – Shelley Long Made Her Final Appearance as a Regular on Cheers, leaving the place where everyone knows your name to focus on her family and film career.
