1983 – David Bowie Released His 15th Album (Let’s Dance). The album would quickly climb to #1 on the Billboard charts.

1983 – 80’s iconic film Flashdance starring Jennifer Beals Premiered in Theaters. Flashdance would be the 3rd highest grossing film of 83.

1988 – Def Leppard released “Pour Some Sugar On Me” as a single. The song would peak at #4 on the Billboard charts.

1989 – “She Drives Me Crazy by The Fine Young Cannibals Became the #1 Song in America
