It was on this week in: 1982 – Emotions in Motion by Billy Squier was released. The album would peak at #5 on the Billboard charts. 1984 – MTV and the WWE presented the Brawl to End it All as part of their Rock n’ Wrestling Connection. Live from Madison Square Garden the main event saw Wendi Richter defeat the Fabulous Moolah with help of 80’s icon Cyndi Lauper. 1987 – Summer School starring Mark Harmon, Kirstie Alley was released. One of my absolute favorite films of the decade and highly underrated in my opinion. 1988 – Caddyshack II, one of the absolute worst sequels in movie history was released. No Rodney Dangerfield, no Bill Murray, no wonder this cash grab of a sequel was an absolute flop.
