We have an official trailer for the recently renamed Green Day inspired movie that will be making it’s debut at the Cannes market. Formally titled ‘New Years Rev’, the film now takes it’s name from one of the bands greatest albums ‘Nimrod’. The movie is a ” coming-of-age film centering on three high school friends who set out on a wild road trip under the mistaken assumption that their fledgling band has been booked to open for Green Day on New Year’s Eve.” The cast is filled with star power that includes Mason Thames, Mckenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Sean Gunn, Bobby Lee and Fred Armisen, and the band themselves.
