Slipknot/Stone Sour and Iowa native Corey Taylor joined Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale this past weekend at the Sound & Vision Awards show as part of a special guest performance to pay tribute to Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler and Paul Rodgers. The all start band featured Butler and Rodgers along side Guns n’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum, Taylor, Hale and more.
Performing a number of classic rock mega hits, including a version of Free’s All Right Now, with vocals performed by Rodgers, Hughes, Taylor, Hale and Halestorm guitarist Joe Hottinger. Corey Taylor took the lead performing Black Sabbath’s Paranoid, and Hale took to the mic for Neon Knights, with founding Black Sabbath member Butler on bass for both renditions.
