1986 – Janet Jackson Released Control. The album would sell over 10 million copies world wide and generate a total of 5, top 5 singles. 

1988 – Andre the Giant Beat Hulk Hogan to Win the WWE Heavyweight Championship Belt on Saturday Night’s Main Event

1989 – Who’s Harry Crumb?, the story of a bumbling private investigator staring the late John Candy was released in theaters.
