1984 – Bruce Springsteen Released the Born in the U.S.A. Album. The album would hit the top spot on the Billboard Charts and would feature 7 top 10 hits!

1987 – The Honkey Tonk Man defeated Ricky “The Dragon Steamboat to Win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Kicking off the start of the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in history.

1988- Big starring Tom Hanks premiered in theaters. I would go on to be the 3rd highest grossing movie of 1988 behind Rain Man, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

1989 – “Rock On” by Michael Damian Became the #1 Song in America
